Sample Requests

If you need to check the look and feel before placing a full order, we can arrange sample options for selected belt bags and promotional bags. This helps you compare size, material, print method and branding position before you approve production.

Sample Requests

How sample requests help with the final order

Sample requests are useful when you are buying for a team, event or client giveaway and need to know exactly what will arrive. You can review bag style, zip quality, strap fit, pocket layout and the way your logo sits on the surface before you commit to bulk production.

This is especially helpful for corporate events in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Gqeberha, where items often need to match an outfit, a delegate pack or a campaign colour. A sample can save time later by flagging issues early, such as a logo that needs a larger print area or a finish that shows dust more than expected.

We work with practical use in mind, so the sample should give you a fair view of how the bag will hold up in daily use. If your team will be moving through an expo floor, commuting, or carrying items at outdoor events, it is worth checking the details before approval.

What you can ask to sample

You do not need to guess which option will suit your brief. Sample requests can cover one bag style or a small range if you are deciding between more than one finish. Where available, we can help you review the branding method as well, so you can see how the logo looks on the actual product.

  • Different belt bag shapes and sizes
  • Material texture and zip quality
  • Logo printing, embroidery or debossing placement
  • Colour match against your brand guide
  • Sample packing for event kits or delegate packs

If you are working with a tight turnaround, ask for the most relevant sample first. That gives you a quicker decision point and avoids delays in the approval process.

How to request a sample through our contact page

All sample requests start on our contact page enquiry form. Add a short note with the bag type you want to review, the quantity you are planning, your event date and any branding details you already have. If you are unsure about the best option, tell us the use case and we will guide the selection.

To keep the process straightforward, include the following:

  • The town or delivery area, such as Cape Town or Durban
  • The bag style you are considering
  • Your logo file or artwork notes if available
  • The required date for review and approval
  • Any special packing or split delivery needs

Once we have your request, we will confirm what sample options are available and what the next step is. If a sample needs extra branding setup, we will let you know up front so there are no surprises later.

What to check when the sample arrives

When your sample is in hand, open it properly and check it the way your staff or guests would use it. Look at the stitching, lining, zip action and whether the strap sits comfortably. If you are planning to use the bag for outdoor promotions, pay attention to how the finish handles dust and handling, because that matters in real use.

We suggest checking the branding under daylight and indoor lighting. A logo can look different in a warehouse, in a boardroom or at a summer event in the Western Cape wind. If the print is too small or the colour contrast is not strong enough, it is better to change it before the run starts.

  • Check the bag size against the items it must carry
  • Confirm the logo position and visibility
  • Inspect colour, finish and stitching
  • Test the zip, strap and closure points
  • Note any changes needed before approval

Sample timing for event work and bulk orders

For corporate events, sample timing matters. If you are ordering for a conference, staff rollout or client campaign, try to request your sample as early as possible. This gives your team time to review the product, share comments and approve the final artwork without rushing at the end.

We also recommend early sample checks if your order is going to multiple delivery points. For example, if you need stock sent to Montague Gardens, Bellville, Somerset West or one of our supply areas in Johannesburg, Pretoria or Gqeberha, approval should be complete before packing starts. That way the full run can move smoothly once production begins.

If you are dealing with load-shedding, venue deadlines or courier cut-offs, a quick sample review can make the rest of the job simpler. It is easier to fix one sample than to adjust a large batch later on.

After approval, what happens next

Once you approve the sample, we move to the full order with the confirmed branding method, quantity and pack-out instructions. If your brief includes bulk packing, event kitting or split delivery, those details are carried through to the production plan so the order is handled consistently from start to finish.

For large campaigns, we keep quality checks in place during production and before dispatch. That helps maintain a steady finish across the batch, which is especially important when bags are going to different branches or event teams. If there is a final artwork tweak needed, it is best done before the job enters production, not after.

Our sample process is there to help you make a practical choice, not a rushed one. A good sample gives you confidence in the bag, the branding and the way it will be presented on event day.
